Hall Green Utd Charity Day April 2016

On April 2nd a charity day was held at the home of Hall Green United, Haslegrave Sports Ground.  Catherine and her team did a great job supporting John Moore, “Shez” Dickerson and Phil Dickerson.  The Charity Day was a game of football and the teams made up from players past and present, and rightly so bitter rivalries were put to the side… for 90 minutes anyway!!!.  The game was to recognise John Moore playing 25 years for the club and it was fitting his son Jack scored a last minute penalty.  Following the game there were games, usually involving alcohol and Live music came from Leeds cover Band 6 Licks.  (Keep an eye for them…. Brilliant) and there time was given free of charge.  The monies raised was split between 2 charities, The Amelia Mae Foundation, in memory of Poppy Adelle Scaife and The Samantha Sykes Foundation.  The total raised and split equally was an impressive £1700.00
